INFORMATION ON THE DISC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Edelco grinding discs are manufactured on modern production lines in keeping with the latest safety standards according to EN 12 413 and oSa requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Type designation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Consists of the following information in the case of grinding discs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\/AS<\/strong> \u2013 Aluminium oxide (abrasive grain for grinding metal)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30<\/strong> \u2013 Refers to the size of the grit. The higher the number, the finer the grit. E.g.: 24 coarse | 30 medium | 36 fine…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R<\/strong> \u2013 This letter stands for the degree of hardness of the disc. The higher the letter in the alphabet, the harder the disc. E.g.: Q soft | R medium hard | W hard<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BF <\/strong>\u2013 Resin bond, reinforced with layers of glass fibre<\/p>\n\n\n\n
